Cheerio Marshmallow Squares
Think Rice Krispie bars but cheerios! These are the easiest to make and are perfect for throwing some sprinkles on for a festive twist!
Ingredients
- Line a 9x9 square pan with parchment paper.
For the cheerio marshmallow squares
- Heat the markshmallows in a large pot on low heat until completely melted. Coat with non-stick cooking spray to ensure marshmallows do not completely stick to the sides.
- Once melted remove pot from heat and stir in the cheerios (you need to may add more or less depending on what you want your texture to be).
- Transfer mixture onto pan and flatten it out evenly.
For the icing
- Mix the powdered sugar milk, and optional food coloring together for the icing. Drizzle the icing on the cheerio marshmallow mixture and top with sprinkles.
- Serve right away or store in a container.
