Ya know when you just NEED that coffee pick me up and something sweet midmorning? This healthier tiramisu is PERFECT for you. Coffee soaked ladyfingers and a healthier cream using light cream cheese makes this treat nice, light, and delicious!

Ingredients
    Cream
  • ½ block (½ cup light cream cheese)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • cups maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Assembly
  • 12 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup expresso
  • Cocao powder for dusting
Instructions
    For the cream
  1. Combine the light cream cheese and vanilla extract and mix using high speed with a stand mixer. Gradually add heavy cream and maple syrup and whip until stiff peaks form.
  2. For assembly
  3. Dip each ladyfinger in the expresso until just soaked and place in serving dish. Layer the tiramisu as follows: soaked ladyfingers, cream, and sifted cocoa powder.
  4. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
